| I just don't like class instruction because of class getting sidetracked by other students questions (which often have little to do with the subject) and instructors who just have no idea how to organize a difficult subject. I buy audio classes every chance I get and all have been extremely helpful. Will & Trusts is no exception. You get a 4 credit class condensed into 6 hours of uninterupted lecture whenever you are ready to listen to it. Additionally, this one has by far the longest accompanying handout I have seen - 52 pages. However, the handout is based on the cd's and the lecturer is using the same handout as his outline for the lecture! They work together perfect. I have a full version of Acrobat so I can type my notes into the PDF handout while listening, but you could just as well print off the handout and write any notes on it. Regardless, the guy did a better job of explaining the material than my instructor did! I was happy with the cd's and the grade I got because of them. |

| My teacher sucked. she expected us to learn it all on our own while she told useless stories about how great of a lawyer she is. i used this CD & the emanuel to learn it on my own. The emanuel explains it all, and then this cements it in. the prof. if funny and fun and entertaining. (i wish my prof. were half this good!) its a great way to learn T&E when you just cant read anymore study guides or text books. Also, the law school legends for CivPro is really good too! |

| It's someone ON the exam with a will situation that's beyond messed up. So goes the corny jokes on the cd - I actually chuckled and thought they were cute. Professor Johanson has a good voice and gets really into all the crazy situations which may occur on the exams - usually with someone named Hobie Gates. It doesn't sound like he's reading which is actually a good thing. The outline, in pdf.form, is actually pretty good and there are blank spots if you print it out for you to take notes. This cd set is a good companion to the actual reading but do not depend on it alone! |
