I wish I would have known about these cds sooner. Freer has a great presentation making subjects like joinder and discovery easy to learn. If you are having difficulty grasping the numerous rules check this out. It helped me tremendously. Plus, there is a 5 year warranty, which I had to take advantage of (I damaged one of the disks) and they replaced it fast and free.

He breaks down Civil Procedure into easy to understand and easily digestible components. He makes my two hour, traffic-ridden car rides to my fiance more productive. He helped me score an awesome grade on my Civ Pro exam, and he helped me prepare for class every day. The best part was he only cost 70 bucks. Anyone who has the pleasure of listening to these lectures will not be disappointed.

I should have bought these day one of class.
The jokes are pretty bad but the material is great and it actually makes civ pro understandable. I just stuck them in my car's CD player and went through them a couple of times.
FYI, he does the BarBri 1L lecture on CivPro, same bad jokes and all.

If you are an auditory learner and want to get the big picture of Civil Procedure this is very helpful. The Professor is very endearing and helps simplify complicated topics like Erie. It helped me alot during finals prep.

I bought this CD set by mistake, but a higher power must have been in charge, because this FREER audio set is fabulous. You won't be wasting your money if you buy this set. Freer is a great teacher, he speaks clearly, explains concepts well, and relates one case to another in a way that makes it easy to see the big picture as case law evolves. I have spent a bundle on 1L supplements of all kinds, Freer's Civ Pro audio CDs go in the "most useful" pile. And I highly recommend his Civ Pro book as well. I would not be in law school except for some rich developers who filed a SLAPP suit against me. For videos of the evening the plaintiff attacked me on the record of the Renton city council, go to Google and search for Bernie Dochnahl, Randy Corman, or my name.
